Hope to see you sometime before the spring has left us entirely! A very Happy Mother's Day to one of my all-time favorite mothers. :) Devotedly yours, LisL and Lhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13496149591329755895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3368158831786362298.post-70543350654782516872011-05-06T22:59:27.328-04:002011-05-06T22:59:27.328-04:00Dear Lulu, I've missed the writing, too; somet...Dear Lulu, I've missed the writing, too; sometimes things get busy and I forget to do what's really important. As for Mrs. Weiderman, I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me she'd been a visitor to the Cafe, but she would have been a more subtle presence. Mrs. Allemano positively gave me goosebumps when I met her. Like you, I thought her positively regal and the last word in elegance. As always, thank you for reading and commenting. Few dialogues have the same value to me as the one that takes place here. So regal, so elegant; I often felt transported to another century in her presence. I always exclaimed how beautiful she looked and she was always modest about her presence in the room, but to me it was huge ~ she transformed the Cafe with her stature and elegance. She fit so perfectly in those surroundings!

I don't believe I knew Mrs. Weiderman, but if she was anything to compare to Irene, then your wishes to your April beloveds is a magical one, indeed.

So nice to have you back ~ I've missed you dearly!lulumariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01951594259193037282noreply@blogger.com
